Located right near Old Colorado City on Highway 24, Red Rocks Open Space is a great spot for your photos! Of course, as the name says, there are red rocks! It’s very accessible with plenty of parking available. The red rocks with the tall grasses offer beautiful scenery as your backdrop. The trails are easy to navigate and it offers a view of Pikes Peak near a pond. If you are willing to walk a little further, there is a quarry where there are steps carved into the stone, pine bushes, and water pooled after a rainy season.
